The visual and performing arts are not just fluff or something extra to do if time allows. The arts are an important part of a child’s education. Participation in the arts:

• improves academic achievement (especially in math and language arts)
• motivates children to succeed in school
• relates to higher scores on the SAT
• improves abstract thinking skills

We are very proud to partner with the Foothills Arts Council. Our students will regularly visit the Foothills Arts Council to view and discuss exhibits; and our two organizations will support each other in arts programming.
